We just bought our first tempurpedic mattress and a brand new bedroom set. The bed has wooden slats across the bottom. We were told we didn't need to purchase the solid platform if we weren't purchasing the adjustable base. Well after delivery the slats rattle each time you touch the bed. Upon reading the paperwork that comes with the bed it states to place mattress on a firm and solid surface. Ashley furniture should know this information correct! They have just about ruined this entire purchasing experience for us. Now I'm assuming we need to go purchase the platform. I suggest informing the retailers of the requirements when selling your products. Thank you.

I used to work for Mattress company for 3 years i was a Sleep Consultant . before i resigned i got my tempur Adapt medium hybrid Queen Size Mattress. I helped so many customers past 3 years and what i learned is Temper Pedic is best mattress for Comfort ,Pressure relief, Pain Relief - Specially back pain and cooling - it regulate your boday temperature. most non temper pedic customers ending up with tempur pedic mattresses and they always come back for Tempur-Pedic and most of Temper-pedic customers come to mattress store after 12 , 15 or 20 years. Good Quality and highly durable . most of other brands not last long and customers come after 7 ,8 or 9 years some even not use 5 years . because most of mattresses are sag Quickly. Temper-pedic -You pay for Best matterial in mattress industry. some other pillow top traditional mattresses are looks fancy and beautiful but its good for few years and after few years most of customers come back and purchase diffrent mattress or come for warrenty assistance. so my number one recomendation is Tempur-Pedic and i recommend medium hybrid or firm any model. i chose Adapt medium hybrid model for me and i love LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid and Luxe breeze medium Hybrid too. those are best for any sleep postions. Sleep is very very important in our life and invest for it. People who choose Tempur-pedic normaly not come back to store. So Get The Best Mattress.

I had high hopes for this mattress, but unfortunately, I was disappointed, although my body feels good on the mattress when I sleep, my shoulders are in extreme pain and discomfort and my arms become dumb and fall asleep. This is leading to long-term shoulder pain and discomfort in my arms, neck and back. I'm not getting a good night's rest. I was hoping after some time of breaking in the mattress this would change, but it has not and I don't think it will. I wish Temperpedic would compensate and fix this.

I love my temper pedic product this is my second purchase of this product, I find this mattress to be very comfortable to sleep on. I purchased a new one because I felt my husband and I needed a bit more space,the last one was just a full size. i feel they are a bit on the pricy side. But you do get long wear out of it. I did reccomend this to others as well

First year bed was great. After that it's been awful.both my husband and I wake up daily with backaches and toss. And Ruth all night because we cannot get comfortable and have to reposition from discomfort. We have had the bed for 3 years and I am so sad we wasted our money. This bed was not cheap.

10/10 do NOT recommend. My mattress did not last but 3-4 years like a standard and much cheaper mattress. When I filed the warranty claim they denied it and said they would not replace it due to improper base support, even though the base we have was directly recommended by a Tempur expert. I will NEVER support this company again. My friends and family will also be moving away from Tempur as a whole. Not worth the money.

I did Ballet & Gymnastics for 20 years, so have pain in my back from thoracic spondylosis and often have pain in my neck. This bed is LIFE CHANGING! It relieves pressure and supports your back in all of the right places! It's called TEMPUR "Adapt" because that's exactly what it does. This mattress adapts to your individual back assisting in comfort on the areas that have more pressure on them. Whether you have a normal back, cervical problems, thoracic problems, lumbar problems or just had back surgery, this mattress helps with all areas. It's superior to any other mattresses I've owned. This is the second TEMPUR-pedic mattress and base that I've bought. The first one is still in the same condition as when I got it on day 1 and the base still functions exactly the same! He often likes his bed flat and I like my head elevated. You can still do that with this mattress and all normal mattress sizes. You can order a regular TEMPUR-pedic mattress with a split base. You can customize the remotes to either control the mattress as a whole or an individual side. Even though one side elevates, it doesn't ruin the comfort for the other person.

I bought this mattress a week ago, since then I have not been able to sleep, I wake up every morning with back pain that doesn't let me function throughout my day. I bought it thinking it was the best decision based on the prestigious background and reviews but I didn't know how much damage to my health this would cause me; my sleep experience is terrible and all I do is tossing and turning all night trying to get some rest and alleviate the pain I have on my middle back, hip and shoulders.
I'm very disappointed with this mattress purchase. Would not recommend to anyone, do your due diligence research before buying it, don't believe reviews that talk highly about this mattress.

We really wanted to enjoy this mattress, but it was still too firm for us. When I initially sit/lay on it seemed super soft and like it molded to me, but sleeping on it my pressure points are sore 😢
If you prefer a little firmer mattress then it may be great for you.

I am writing this review after using this mattress for 2 years; It felt good for the first 1 yr; Now when I sleep on this bed it sinks by 40%; I have got a firm bed but it feels too light and not comfortable if you have back issues. Tempurpedic warranty and customer service forget about it; You just buy a new MATTRESS;

My old TempurPedic was 25 years old and ready to be replaced. The new mattresses are completely different in all ways, except comfort. Way back when, there was no soft, med, firm choice. My new medium is firmer than I expected, but I am sleeping well. It will be an adjustment during the break in period. Quality is still superlative !

My experience with the foundation and the medium hybrid mattress has been very positive so far. It does not remove all of my aches and pains, so I am still in the "seeing if I will keep it forever" phase, but it certainly looks promising. It did help me with quite a few of my aches and pains and I am able to sleep a lot better than before. I trust the foundation more than other foundations i have had. One foundation I had from another company splintered into my old mattress. Not so with the Tempurpedic. I greatly recommend Tempurpedic and the money is worth it for the trusted flagship brand.

I am enjoying a good night's sleep compared to my old box spring mattress. It took awhile to figure out which pillow works with the bed, though. I started to notice about 6 months in that the middle of the bed started to sag. You can't tell by looking at it but noticeable when laying down. I use a bed cover that I wash often so not sure if this could have been avoided.

The start off this is not a king size mattress that they are claiming to be the size is a lot smaller because none of my sheets fit and they are king size sheets that I've had since the last day. This is the second bed I've gone through within a year because it collapse in the center there is such a big sag on one end and has happened with the last one I had also and they replaced it with a new one and the same thing is happening. I would not ever ever ever recommend Tempur-pedic they're not like they used to be 20 years, ago they sell junk!!!!!

This is a horrible horrible mattress it's-sags on one end and the other side as hard as a rock it's 3 inches smaller than the king size they claiming to be, out of every king size sheet I have my sheet swimming on this bed, that's just to start off with this is the second mattress I've had with them in the past year and every one of them sag at one end depending on where you sleep and where you don't sleep it is hard as a rock. This is a horrible mattress I would not recommend it to anyone. Denying a new one knowing it's their mistake not mine It's just inconceivable.

I would not recommend this mattress to anybody this is the second one I have gotten through them and everyone has sagged making it very uncomfortable to sleep on. This mattress has 3 inches smaller than the king size they are claiming it to be every king size sheet I own just swims on this mattress, so what they're claiming to do is sell a king size mattress to you and all reality it's not this is a horrible mattress this is the second one I have received through them and everyone of them turned out to be a horrible mattress to sleep on just totally sagging and I thought a warranty claim and they denied me unjustifiable! I showed them all the pictures they wanted to see they wanted me to take my mattress off my bed so I could take a picture of the bedframe I am a 70-year-old woman who lives alone and my husband died so there is no way I could've taken that mattress off the bed let alone getting it back on if I did. They make it so hard for you to file a claim just so they can deny it, would not recommend this product at all

Within the first week, I found that sitting on the edge made the edge soft-- it literally almost crumbled when I sat on the edge of the(which I need to do for my exercises).
After about a month, I found that where I lay down the mattress created what I call a hole --it feels lumpy and I cannot turn over easily-- much shifting and juggling to turn over.
I plan to put in a warranty claim but don't hold out much hope of a resolution.

This is by far the best mattress I've ever owned! The only other mattresses that even come close in quality are an older Tempur-Pedic I had and the Beautyrest Black series. I actually returned a Helix mattress for this one, and I have zero regrets.
The comfort and support are next level-it contours perfectly without feeling too soft or too firm. Honestly, I sleep so well on this mattress that I almost don't want to get out of bed in the morning! If you're looking for unmatched quality and comfort, this is 100% worth it.

I had an original Tempur Pedic bed, and when the time came to replace it - I asked what was comparable to my first mattress. I was told the Adapt medium was the bed for me. After just over a year and a few month the mattress is sagging -even though I bought the Tempur Pedic foundation to support it. This mattress has been the worst mattress purchase I have made. I won't be buying another one!
